CARLSED of his real name Carlos Sedeño was born in Barcelona in 1978. An experimental musician, he works in the audiovisual world. He studied Chemical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and then Film Direction in 2017. Self-taught guitarist, he started learning at age fifteen. Restless and experimenter, he plays in different sound disciplines post-rock, electronics, jazz amongst others. In 2005 he studied photography. In photography, he finds visual poetry that he quickly decides to incorporate into music. In 2007 he began to experiment with videoing, leading to the creation of his own audiovisual language. The same experimentation process led him to improvisation. His musical images take over spontaneity, depth, contemplation, detail, noise… As he puts it: “Experimentation is the consequence of a dissatisfaction and confusion feeling of the self in relation to everything that surrounds us.”
