EN/ Only two years have passed between his LP debut, that was the first part of “Make a funk noise here”, but with pandemic, and time, elastic and whimsical, the wait until this second part of Javier Giménez Bayón aka Meno “Make a funk noise noise”, its gotten longer than we expected. And, as virginal Britney Spears did long ago, ooops, Meno did it again. Damn right he did it. One more time hes showing that the funk, in its sticky and thuggy version, its in his blood. He absolutely masters the genre. From the funk that goes hand in hand with hip hop from the one that marries with rock, and even the more electronic and martian version of funkism. Thats what we call versatilty and a huge capacity to infuse all his influences in a new collection of songs that sound like Meno, but have reminiscences of all genre classics. Like George Clinton said,”this guys got the funk!” 

ES/ Apenas han pasado 2 años desde el debut en LP y la que fuera la primera entrega de “Make a funk noise here”, pero entre pandemias, el tiempo, que es elástico y caprichoso, y que todo cada vez parece más acelerado y apocalíptico, la espera hasta esta segunda parte de “Make a funk noise here” de Meno (nombre artístico de Javier Gimeno Bayón) se ha hecho más larga que un día sin pan (ni punk). Y, tal como la virginal Britney Spears hizo tiempo atrás, ooops, Meno lo ha vuelto a hacer. Vaya que sí. Ha vuelto a demostrar que por sus venas corre el funk más pegajoso, muevecucus y macarra. Domina como pocos el género, y además en todas sus vertientes. Desde la que se escora hacia el hip hop hasta la que vira hacia rock, como la que tira hacia lo marciano y electrónico. A eso se le llama versatilidad, conocimiento, y una extraordinaria capacidad para volcar todas sus influencias en una nueva colección de canciones que suenan a él mismo sin dejar de recordar a los grandes del género. En definitiva, en resumen, y como bien cantaba George Clinton, ¡este tío tiene Funk!.
