Only two years have passed between his LP debut, that was the first part of “Make a funk noise here”, but with pandemic, and time, elastic and whimsical, the wait until this second part of Javier Giménez Bayón aka Meno “Make a funk noise noise”, its gotten longer than we expected. And, as virginal Britney Spears did long ago, ooops, Meno did it again. Damn right he did it. One more time hes showing that the funk, in its sticky and thuggy version, its in his blood. He absolutely masters the genre. From the funk that goes hand in hand with hip hop from the one that marries with rock, and even the more electronic and martian version of funkism. Thats what we call versatilty and a huge capacity to infuse all his influences in a new collection of songs that sound like Meno, but have reminiscences of all genre classics. Like George Clinton said,”this guys got the funk!”
